The crystals are infused with rich essential oils.
For multiple-use, it's best to use distilled water or filtered water because tap water has impurities/minerals that may interact with the essential oils and can cause cloudiness over time (still fine to use if cloudy).
For single-use, any kind of water is fine.
A jar of mouthwash crystals will be sent to you every 4 months. Change the frequency or cancel subscription anytime.
Use any container you want! Many of our customers use a glass mason jar for multiple use or a small measuring cup for single use.
Our mouthwash crystals come in glass jars, our scoops are made from bamboo, and our box is made of 100% recyclable material.
One small jar of mouthwash crystals is equivalent to around 4-6 months' worth of mouthwash - saves you from buying a plastic bottle of mouthwash each month.
We also reduce carbon emissions with lightweight shipping -- most conventional liquid mouthwashes are 99% water, and thus very heavy to ship. We estimate that 500 million plastic mouthwash bottles are thrown out each year, so that means that the world is essentially shipping 500 million bottles of water to and fro -- it's just completely wasteful and unnecessary. Not to mention these bottles end up in our oceans.

As much as you want! We use Nix throughout the day -- in the morning, to cleanse the palate after a meal, to avoid snacking, before meetings, after brushing, etc.
We recommend finishing Nix Mouthwash within 1 year. Store away from sunlight, heat, and keep tightly capped. Due to the natural ingredients, it is normal for the flavor and color to
change slightly overtime.
Commercial mouthwashes contain chemicals, alcohol, synthetic additives and preservatives.
Some of these ingredients are added to extend the shelf life and to maintain the taste
consistency of the mouthwash. Unfortunately, some of these ingredients can be harmful, and
can even cause oral cancer.
Moreover, most commercial mouthwashes are very eco-unfriendly!
